Nickelby Olives
Nickelby Olives is the newest venture at Nickelby At Darnum.
Commencing in November 08 we are planting around 400 olive trees to produce both oil and fruit for selling at the shop.
We all know that olives take a very long time to produce fruit but that won't stop us venturing into all things olive over the next couple of years. You might like to be kept informed about our "adopt and olive tree" program that we are developing.
As a lead up to olives becoming a large part of our lives, we are using pure extra virgin olive oil as a base for our natural soaps in the Angelique range and it is proving to be a real hit.
So as far as Nickelby Olives is concerned it is "watch this space..."
